DESTINATION ARCHITECT – GUEST SERVICE

About a year ago i was in London staying at the Rosewood London. I needed to go into my office and complete some work. At the end of the long day i decided to hope in a cab. I didn’t the extra traffic and that the rise would be a bit longer than it had been.

As i arrived at the Rosewood i realized that i left my wallet in my backpack. Therefore not having the funds to pay. Just as i was explaining to the driver that i needed to run in and get some money from my room the attendant opened the cab door and heard what i was saying and promptly paid the driver. I thanked him and asked for just a few minutes to run to my room. The attendant didn’t wait or stress me as he was going off shift. I came back but he was no where to be seen. I couldn’t find him.

While it was only 10 pounds it was such a thoughtful act. Fortunately the following morning as i was leaving the attendant on duty was the same from the afternoon before. I was able to properly thank him and repay him.

Guest Service is the little things!
